The ApexGuard Ultra-Light Hiking Backpack is a 30-liter daypack crafted from proprietary SummitLite™ 210D ripstop nylon. It’s purpose-built for experienced hikers and casual trail enthusiasts seeking minimized weight and maximum trail comfort.

Long days on the trail shouldn’t mean enduring back strain and constant discomfort from a cumbersome pack. Feeling weighed down limits your focus, stealing the joy from breathtaking vistas. The ApexGuard Ultra-Light Hiking Backpack changes everything.

Your Next Adventure Needs an Ultra-Light Hiking Companion

• Move Freely: The incredibly low 1.2 lbs (544 grams) weight makes you forget you’re even wearing a pack.
• Stay Comfortable, Longer: Our breathable AirFlow suspension system disperses weight evenly, preventing pressure points on your shoulders and back.
• Protect Your Gear: YKK AquaGuard® zippers seal out moisture, keeping your essentials dry through unexpected downpours.
• Hike Further, Feel Stronger: Reduce fatigue with a design that prioritizes lightweight efficiency, conserving your energy for the entire journey.
• Organize with Ease: Smartly placed pockets and a generous 30-liter capacity ensure quick access to water bottles, snacks, and navigation tools.

Every element of the ApexGuard pack is designed with the trail in mind. It feels exceptionally light in hand, yet surprisingly robust.

• The exterior boasts a sleek obsidian black finish, subtly accented with charcoal grey. This deep hue provides a timeless look for any wilderness setting.
• You’ll notice the matte, ripstop texture of the main compartment – a testament to the proprietary SummitLite™ 210D ripstop nylon. This material feels remarkably tough, resisting snags and tears even against abrasive rock.
• Along the main zippers, reflective piping catches light, enhancing your visibility during dawn treks or late-dusk returns. The YKK AquaGuard® zippers glide smoothly, offering a confident seal against the elements.
• Side pockets are constructed from a fine, flexible mesh, stretching to accommodate water bottles or quick-access items.
• A stylized mountain peak, our brand logo, is discreetly debossed on the front lower panel, a subtle mark of quality.
• The AirFlow suspension system, combined with ergonomic, padded shoulder straps and a plush hip belt, molds comfortably to your body. You’ll feel a secure, balanced fit, distributing the 30-liter load effectively.

This pack shines brightest on day hikes, fast-paced summit attempts, or even as a minimalist travel companion. It’s ideal for carrying water, layers, snacks, and essential safety gear without feeling burdened. Whether navigating dense forests or exposed ridges, the ApexGuard maintains its secure, comfortable presence. Explore our full range of adventure gear at summitgear.com.

Keeping Your Pack Trail-Ready

A little care ensures your ApexGuard remains a trusted companion for years.

• After dusty trips, simply brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, spot wash with mild soap and water, then air dry completely away from direct sunlight.
• Ensure all zippers are free of debris to maintain their smooth, waterproof function. Periodically apply a zipper lubricant if they start to feel stiff.
• Store your pack in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid compressing it excessively, which can stress the fabric and frame over time.

What size user does this backpack fit best?

The ApexGuard Ultra-Light Hiking Backpack features an adjustable AirFlow suspension system designed to comfortably fit most adult torsos. The ergonomic shoulder straps and padded hip belt can be cinched for a personalized, stable fit across a wide range of body types.

Is the SummitLite™ material comfortable against the skin?

While the SummitLite™ 210D ripstop nylon is on the exterior, designed for durability, the AirFlow back panel and inner strap linings are crafted from a soft, breathable mesh. This wicks moisture and prevents chafing, ensuring comfort even on strenuous climbs.

What is your policy on shipping and returns for this pack?
